Random fashion question here. Do you wear shirts tucked in or do you leave them out? I haven’t worn a tucked in shirt for several years.

No. I don't have that kind of waist....shirts never stay tucked in properly when I try. I only buy shirts that are made to be worn untucked.

Great question. After noticing all the clothing ads of models with tucked-in shirts, I do occasionally tuck a shirt in now. Funny fact: when I wear a tucked-in shirt, friends ask me if I’ve lost weight.

I have worn mine untucked for years.
In school we had a math coach that insisted all students and staff should wear their shirts tucked in. She never got her wish because most adults did not want to tuck in. Students' shirts were made to be worn outside the pants/skirts. We were a uniform school district.

Untucked. No belt, either. Both make me uncomfortable.

Untucked. I'm all about comfort, not style.

According to what I'm seeing on tik tok, the young folks are now saying untucked is the style . This time last year, it was definitely the opposite! And apparently if you do tuck in, it has to be the whole shirt and not the "french tuck" (only a bit at the front tucked in). Apparently they call this the "millennial tuck" and it is super cringe and old
.
For me, it depends on what I'm wearing and what kind of mood I'm in. I have a belly, and generally tucked in with jeans is just not flattering. I do try to embrace the body I have and I'm much more adventurous with style than I was even in a few years ago, but it just doesn't look good. I will do a tucked in shirt with bottoms that float away from my body- like linen shorts or the like (so no visible pooch like in jeans). I had several outfits last summer like that, and I enjoyed wearing them and did feel the outfit looked better that way.

I didn’t know that’s what it was called. I’m old and it has always made me cringe when I see it.
I do not tuck.

Tucked shirts not very flattering for me because I tend to be short waisted. I wear longer shirts now anyways. I like seeing both tucked and untucked on others but the millennial tuck irks me because I feel forced to notice it more.

Yikes! I do the cringe worthy tuck apparently. I tuck in the front and leave the back untucked.

When I was in high school and college in the 80’s I always wore them tucked, but as an adult have always worn them untucked.

I usually wear shirts that are meant to be untucked. If I have to wear a shirt tucked in, it usually won’t stay that way because I have a really long torso. As soon as I move, the shirt will untuck.

Untucked since my twin pregnancy 29 years ago, haha!
I have lost weight in the last year and did finally tuck a shirt ( by choice) in for my volunteer usher stint this winter, but still wore a cardigan over it. It felt weird!

Untucked and haven't worn in belt in probably 20 years. I prefer longer shirts and leave them untucked.

Untucked here. I dont like the look of waistbands on most pants and I really don't like the look of belts. Untucked again…

Generally untucked. I am short-waisted, so my music teacher tees look like tunics.

Depends on the pants and the shirt. Since I’ve lost weight, it’s nice to tuck if it works with the outfit.

Same here! Mostly untucked for me, but I did wear my flannel shirt with a vest tucked in a few times this winter!

Depending on the length of the shirt I usually tuck. I have a long waist and short legs. I like belts with trouser pants but not with form fitting pants. I am large chested, tops will hang from the “shelf” and look sloppy unless tucked.

I can't think of the last time I tucked a shirt in, but I don't really have those kinds of shirts
